Do you provide driving services?

We would love to be able to bring your mother to her doctor’s appointment or your children home from school, but unfortunately insurance restrictions won’t allow us to drive anyone anywhere. Thank you for your understanding.

Is there anything else Just Ducky won’t do?

Just Ducky does not:

  • clean or cook


  • do handyman services, such as put furniture together or hang pictures, etc.

  • take trash to the dump

  • chauffeur people

  • do babysitting, except as a mother’s helper for new moms (see Services page)

  • do anything requiring heavy lifting, including moving furniture or heavy boxes

  • walk medium to big dogs that do not heel

But we would be happy to try to help you find someone who will provide these services. And Just Ducky reserves the right to deny any service that is out of our realm of expertise, unsafe, or illegal.

Can Just Ducky hire professionals for us, such as a contractor?

Just Ducky is happy to assist you in researching and setting up appointments to interview contractors or other professionals, however we cannot guarantee that we will find a professional for you to work with nor can we guarantee their work.

Can you do more than one errand or service at a time?

Absolutely! Just Ducky keeps time logs for each of our clients. We log in and log out with each service that we provide and then total it all up. We work as carefully and efficiently as possible and can often accomplish multiple tasks within one hour.

What are your hours of operation?

Our normal business hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. After 4:00 we are finishing any tasks and returning phone calls and emails. Early morning, evening, and weekend service is available and billed at a higher hourly rate. Just Ducky Services are on an “As Available” basis during major holidays at a higher hourly rate.  Can I call you the day I need your services?

Just Ducky desires at least a 24-hour notice for all errand services, but depending on availability, same day service is available. All services are scheduled on a first-come-first-serve basis.

What if I have to cancel the requested service?

Cancellation of services requires a 12-hour notice. All services cancelled without a 12-hour notice could result in a cancellation fee. Cancellations can be made by phone or email.

How do you do grocery shopping? Do we have to make out a whole list for you?

Just Ducky has a Grocery Shopping List for you to fill out. We can send it via email or snail mail. You can send it back or hand it over in person. After the first shopping trip, we keep your list on file so subsequent trips only need updates.

Since we are entrusting you with personal information, can we ensure our privacy?

All information regarding Just Ducky’s clients are kept in the strictest confidence. Just Ducky Errands will not at any time sell or exchange our client information to outside sources. Just Ducky Errands will not give out any information about our clients without their consent. Vendors/Service Providers will be provided with only the information required to complete a specific task.

What do you do with our keys?

All Keys are tagged and coded, so if by some chance a key is lost or stolen, your name and address are safe. If we keep a key for you, it is kept separately from your file containing your personal information.

Can you just leave the keys on the kitchen counter before you leave?

What if you are out of town and cannot return on time? What if your home is broken into and the keys are on the kitchen counter? For your safety and our peace of mind, we only return keys to you or someone you trust.

What if I need a service that is not listed?

No Problem! Just give us a call or email us and ask if we can provide the service. If we can’t, we will try to  recommend someone who can.
